I’m excited to share with you my new Stella Swing Bag.  I had hoped to have the pattern complete for my stop today but it’s still in the final editing stages.  Want to be the first to get your hands a copy?  Check out all the awesome giveaways at the end of this post!

I decided to separate my colors into blues & reds and make 2 different pieced tops for the Stella Swing Bag.  They feel so classic yet modern at the same time – don’t you think?  I also made a solid top using one my favorite prints – Gatsby in Multi.

And a few detail shots for you.  I love the professional finish a turn lock adds to the flap closure.  There’s a recessed zipper under there too!  All the little squares are so beautiful.  What a fun way to carry around your favorite fabric collection, right?!  Want to know how to make perfectly aligned seams?  Come back in a few weeks when I share some more details about the making of this bag.

I love your Stella Swing bag! It has such a distinctive style and it looks like it would be roomy and so comfy to wear. And it looks great in these fabrics! Gatsby is my favorite in the collection. Thanks for the chance to win!

Wow. What a beautiful bag. Love that with the ability to show off so many fabrics in using the patchwork and its design. Very nice. I’d love to win your Stella Sling Bag pattern.
Thank you for the opportunity to win.

  4. The Stella Swing Bag is just my style…not too big, not too small and just enough handle to sling over my shoulder. All of your fabric combinations are so eye-catching, but my favorite is the last photo with the floral fabric on top.

I can’t wait for your Stella Swing Bag pattern to be ready! It looks roomy, accessible & comfortable to wear AND it only has one strap! BTW, I’m really enamored of the Glitz fabric you used in one of the bags.

The swing bag is the perfect size for all the odds and ends I carry around with me! I can’t wait to make it!
